I SHOOK THE ROYAL THRONE

New Cross + moshing

hello bastards with cameraphones

In early August I went down to London and went to a few good gigs, a boring in-store performance and a nice festival that was marred by slightly rubbish organisation. I’ve got a fair bit of media and thoughts about all of them and I’ll make some very late judgements in the next few days. First one is Part Chimp and thier gig at the Montague Arms in New Cross, London on the 10th of August. I think that was the date. They were the loudest band evarrrr. By the end of performance everything sounded muffled, but it was still bloody fun. The encore consisted of a deafening ‘Bakahatsu’ followed by a bombastic and nicely placed ‘New Cross’, and the gig also involved lots of dry ice. I cannot recall the support acts. Enjoy.
